Day 01
On the 1st day of your 14 day South India tour itinerary arrive at Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu in South India. Your tour guide will meet you here and will arrange for a stay in hotel. Check in the hotel and relax.
Day 02
Tour for entire day to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram in South India. Both are the well famous cultural cities of south India. Take on a tour to the magnificent temples of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy. Also see the prospering silks weaving industry Kanchipuram in South India, another very famous feature. Take a tour to Mahabalipuram to see the fabulous rock cut temples located at the seashore.
Day 03
Take a sightseeing tour to the Art and Bronze Gallery and other attractions of Chennai such as Santhome Cathedral, Marina Beach, Snake Park and the Flower and Fruit market. Enjoy driving past the High court and Fort museum. Later in the evening take a train to Madurai in South India and spend the night on board the train.
Day 04
Reach Madurai, the temple city of South India. Check in the hotel and relax. Your tour itinerary will include afternoon tour to the tourist attractions of Madurai. See the magnificent Meenakshi Temple, Tirumala Nayak Palace, Tirupara Kundran Rock temple, and the lush Alagar Hills. Stay overnight at the hotel in Madurai.
Day 05
Take a drive to the Periyar National Park in Kerala. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary at Thekkady is one of the major sanctuaries of India. The combination of forests and the lovely mountains of Munnar give a beautiful experience to the tourist. The Periyar Tiger Reserve and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is located at some 200 km from Kochi. Stay overnight at the resort in Periyar in Kerala.
Day 06
Take a drive to Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. Check in the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, South India.
Day 07
You are at leisure to spend the whole 7th day, as you wish. Simply relax in your comfortable lush green Kerala environs or visit the interesting tourist attractions in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, South India.
Day 08
Take a drive to Cochin in Kerala. On your way to Cochin take a halt to visit the tour to the interesting Kerala villages.
Day 09
Have an entire day sightseeing tour to Cochin in Kerala. Cochin or Kochi is a bustling port city of Kerala that offers the tourists some spectacular natural beauty. Take a tour of the important tourist attractions such as the Hindu temples, Jewish synagogue, mosques and Portuguese churches. Take a boat cruise in the Cochin Harbor and see the beautiful Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening, board a train to Bangalore in Karnataka. Spend a night on board the train.
Day 10
Reach Bangalore, the popular outsourcing hub and IT city of India in Karnataka. Check in the hotel. Take an afternoon city tour of Bangalore and go on to the tour of the Maharaja's Palace and the several ornamental and beautifully trimmed gardens in the different parts of Bangalore. Stay at night in the Bangalore hotel.
Day 11
Take a morning drive to Mysore in Karnataka. You are now free to enjoy your day at leisure. You can also enjoy shopping at several handicrafts centers. Stay overnight at the hotel in Mysore in Karnataka.
Day 12
Take a morning tour to visit the famous historic monuments of Mysore, such as the Royal palace of Mysore, Chamundeshwari Temple, Nandi Bull and the Art Gallery. Stay overnight at the hotel in Mysore.
Day 13
Start your day at leisure and move out of the hotel to do what you please. Later in the day you can board an Express Train to Chennai. Arrive in Chennai and check in the hotel. Spend your rest of the day at leisure, doing what you missed out before.
Day 14
Get driven to the airport. Board an international flight to get back home.
