Day 01
On day 1 of Kailash Mansarovar tour, your tour will start at Kathmandu. Later in the day, have an overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02
Take your breakfast and start on to enjoy the city travel tour of Kathmandu. Visit the famous tourist attractions of Kathmandu, including Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhnath. Take a memorable travel trip to medieval town of Bhaktapur, the initial phase of the much sought after Kailash Mansarovar Tour.
Day 03
Take the morning flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and stay at a prescribed hotel. Have some good rest required to acclimatize to the high altitudes and chilling whether.
Day 04
Have breakfast and your sightseeing tour of Lhasa follows. It includes the tour of some historically precious monuments of Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace and Barkhore Street.
Day 05
Take an early breakfast and it will further take you on to Shigatse. It is located at a distance of about 340 km from Lhasa. Have lunch en route. Reach at Shigatse, night stay at an assigned hotel and have your dinner.
Day 06
Take your early morning breakfast, and leave for Latse, located at a distance of 308 km for your Kailash Mansarovar tour. Take your lunch en route as you arrive at Latse.
Day 07
Take an early breakfast, and leave for Saga, 300 km away from Latse. After a journey of about 8 to 9 hrs have lunch on the route. Take your dinner and stay overnight at the guesthouse or in the tents, if needed.
Day 08
Take an early morning breakfast and proceed for Parayang. Take your lunch en route. Your day will end with dinner. Stay overnight at the guesthouse or in outdoor tents.
Day 09
After an early breakfast, take a drive to Mansarovar. Lunch will be en route. Stay overnight at the guesthouse or tents.
Day 10
Your full day will be spent on the holy and picturesque banks of Mansarovar lake. There is facility to perform Mansarovar Parikrama by Jeeps. Have your dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse or tents.
Day 11
Take your early morning breakfast and depart further to Tarboche. It is the starting point for the Kailash Parikrama. It will further be followed by a trek to Driraphuk. In the evening have your dinner and overnight camping will follow suit, a regular feature of Kailash Mansarovar tour.
Day 12
Take an early breakfast and start trekking to Zutulphuk through the Dolma Pass. It is the highest point of the whole mountain odyssey. It has the distance of about 18 km with the total time taken about 9 to 10 hrs. In the evening, take your dinner and overnight camping will follow suit.
Day 13
Have an early morning breakfast and the trek will last for further 10 km. Reach at the concluding point of Parikrama. Here the jeeps will be waiting for you to drive on the pilgrims back to Mansarovar.
Day 14
Have your early morning breakfast, and drive on to Parayang. You can have your lunch en route. Take your dinner and stay overnight at either the guesthouse or tents.
Day 15
Take your early breakfast and proceed for Saga, located at the distance of 200 km. Have your lunch en route. Your day will culminate with dinner. Stay overnight at the guesthouse or tents.
Day 16
On your travel tour to Kailash Mansarover, take an early morning breakfast and leave for Nyalam. Your lunch will be en route. Take your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel or Guest House or Tents.
Day 17
Have your breakfast and move on to Zhangmu, located at distance of 26 km from the night stay. You need to complete here some immigration formalities. Your tour entourage will here cross the friendship bridge on foot. Take a drive back to Kathmandu. Reach Kathmandu by evening and check in at the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 18
This day is kept at leisure for indulgence, rest and following up on personal activities.
Day 19
The Kailash Mansarovar tour concludes after the 18 adventure-filled and exciting days and nights.
Note: The Kailash Mansarovar tour will be organized from the months of May till September, annually. Historic Kathmandu is the beginning point of the tour that will last for about 19 days.
