Day 1: Delhi [B]
Reach Delhi. Our representative will receive you here. He will
help you to check in your hotel. Just relax and get fresh to leave
for a tour of lively cities of Old and New Delhi. Here you can see
the Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Qutab Minar, India Gate,
Cannaught Place, Humayun Tomb, and other gorgeous monuments in Delhi.
Come back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Days 3 - 6: Kanha National Park [B, L, D]
Fly to Nagpur in the morning. Get transferred to Kanha Tiger Reserve
by road. You will have your stay for four nights at either Tuli
Tiger Resort or Shergarh Tented Camp. Located in Madhya Pradesh
in central India at the spectular setting of Satpura Hill ranges,
Kanha is India's finest Project Tiger since 1974. Being an inspiration
for Rudyard Kipling's famous, Jungle Book, the lush landscapes and
dense forests play abode to various fauna including Chital, Barasingha,
Sambar, Muntjac, Common Langur, Asiatic Jackal, Wild Boar, Rhesus
Monkeys.
Kanha also nestles India's four lowland antelopes Four-horned Antelope,
Nilgai and Blackbuck and also at times Gaur, Leopard, Wolf, Sloth
Bear, and Indian Wild Dog. The bird life is exciting at Kanha with
beautiful birds such as Painted Partridge, Golden Oriole, Shaheen
Falcon and the ubiquitous Red Jungle Fowl. Have your safaris on
the Elephant back and by jeep. Do not miss the picturesque sunset
at Bamni Dadar.
Located in the buffer region of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, the Tuli
Tiger Resort has eighteen air-conditioned cottages. Each room is
equipped with ensuite facilities. The public areas comprise of audio
and video theatre, library, pool table, swimming pool and restaurant.
The Shergarh Tented Camp is located at the distance of about four
kilometres from Mukki or southern entrance to Kanha Tiger Reserve.
The six tents offered here for accommodation are spaced independently
inside the wooden grove. They will provide you ample privacy, as
each has a verandah and comfy private facilities.
Days 7 - 10: Bandhavgarh National Park [B, L, D]
In the morning, get ready to cover a long distance ride to reach
to Bandhavgarh National Park by road. Reaching there, get a four
night stay at either Tiger Trails Resort or at Churhat Kothi Camp.
Ranthambore national Park is rich with flora and fauna include Sambar,
Chital, Nilgai, Muntjac, Chinkara, Wild Boar, Chowsingha, Dhole
Leopard and certainly the Tigers. Birdlife is abounding with over
275 varieties of bird as well as orioles, hornbills, peacocks, parakeets
and eagles. Wildlife viewing is on Elephant-back and by jeep.
The Tiger Trails Resort offers accommodation of twelve two bedroom
cottages spread over a four hectare site, each with ensuite facilities.
You can be benefited with a well stocked library, delicious food
restaurant and bar area. The lodge overlooks a personal lake that
is focus for a numerous resident and migratory birds.
All the twelve spacious safari tents at Churhat Kothi are put up
on a concrete platforms. Each of them has ensuite facilities. Electricity
is provided to the public areas that include a dining room and the
lounge area.
Days 11 - 12: Agra [B]
Take an overnight train to Agra. Reach to Agra the same day. Here
our representative will meet you. Get transferred to Trident Hotel
and here you will be accommodated for the night. The Trident is
a first class hotel located in the beautiful landscaped gardens.
Leave hotel for a tour of Agra and the most famous monument Taj
Mahal. Taj Mahal was made by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630
as an epitome of love for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Her mortal remains
are kept here in the monument. Taj Mahal was being made for 22 years
with the hard labor of 20,000 men day and night to make it a masterpiece
that has held the world in admiration ever since. The Agra Fort
and nearby long abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri are also well worth
a tour.
Days 13 - 16: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve [B, L, D]
Take a train onboard to Sawai Madhopur. Here our representative
will meet you. Get transferred to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
You will stay for four nights either at Nahargarh or Sher Bagh.
Located in the rolling hills of Rajasthan in the picturesque surrounding
of dhok forest and tranquil waters. Ranthambore has one of the highest
densities of tigers in India. It is the park where maharaja of Rewa
found the first White Tiger of the world. Apart from rich flora
and fauna, Ranthambore is decorated with crumbling ruins of temples
and one hilltop fort. Come here for wildlife and also to experience
the princely splendour of famous Rajput State of Rajasthan.
Ranthambore offers you the excellent opportunities to see Tigers
even at the daytime. Among more than 22 species of mammals are Sloth
Bear, Rhesus Macaque, Leopard, Common Langur, Chinkara, Nilgai,
Jackal, Wild Boar, Chital and Sambar. The bird life is excellent
with 250 species of them. You can get to see the most beautiful
of them. By the lakeside view the popular Marsh Mugger Crocodiles.
You can view the wildlife here by jeep.
Surrounded by one 16th century fortress, Nahargarh Fort is built
in the traditional style of a Rajput hunting palace. It has air-conditioned
rooms, individual courtyards and ensuite facilities. You can cool
yourself at the private swimming pool.
The camp of Sher Bagh is located along the northern periphery of
Ranthambore National Park. It consists of about ten luxurious tents
set in an appropriate style as designed for Maharaja of Jodhpur.
You will get verandah and bathroom with hot and cold running water
and electricity supply in each tent. Meals will be served in a unique
dining tent. Enjoy the fresh, delicious and hygienic food here,
as most of the produce is grown organically in the local premises.
Day 17. Delhi [B]
Get a game drive in the morning. Leave for the station and board
a train to come back to Delhi. After dinner and a short night rest
at the Radisson Hotel, get transferred to the airport to catch a
flight for home with unforgettable memories of enchanting India.
