Best of Rajasthan and Taj Mahal Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Reach Delhi at the international airport of Delhi. Here you will be received by a representative of Indiantourscatalogue.com and helped to check in the hotel. Relax and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi To Jodhpur
Have your breakfast and board a flight for Jodhpur. Arrive at Jodhpur and check in your hotel. Relax and refresh. Later, take a sightseeing tour to Jodhpur. Here, you will see the attractions such as, Jaswant Thada or royal cenotaphs in the Umaid Gardens. See the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace and see the heritage museum inside. Your evening time is for shopping excursion. Stay overnight at your hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 3: Jodhpur Sightseeing To Udaipur
Have your breakfast and start your day with the sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit the majestic and huge Mehrangarh Fort. It is one of the largest forts of India that includes beautiful palaces and display of royal arms and artifacts, inside its premises. You will also visit Osiyan, an oasis in the desert that holds beautiful Hindu and Jain temples.

Later, in the afternoon, leave for Udaipur. Udaipur is the famous lake city of Rajasthan. Enroute, visit the Ranakpur Temples, a large group of Jain Temples in India. See the Chaumukha, Neminath and Parashnath Temples among many others. Reach Udaipur and check in the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Udaipur Sightseeing
Have your breakfast and leave for a whole daylong tour of Udaipur. You will see the famous City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola, Gangor Ghat, Saheliyon ki Badi, Fateh Sagar lake, and the folk art museum with a traditional collection of puppets, musical instruments and paintings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Udaipur To Pushkar
Have your breakfast and start on the leisure walk in the city of Udaipur, either beside a lake or the lake palaces. You can take a boat ride in the Lake Pichola and enjoy the regal ambience of the magnificent lake palaces of Udaipur, such as the Jag Mandir Palace and the Jag Niwas Palace. Later in the day, leave for the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Pushkar. Reach Pushkar and check in the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Pushkar To Ranthambore
Pushkar is an important religious destination for the Hindus as it hosts the only temple of Lord Brahma on earth. Post breakfast make a visit to the Pushkar Lake. The Pushkar Lake is a holy lake where pilgrims come to take bath on auspicious days. Take a tour of the Pushkar temples including the Brahma Temple. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

You will then leave for Ranthambore. Reach Ranthambore and check in the hotel. Relax and refresh. Later, in the day, you will explore the city. Travel to the nearby town of Sawai Madhopur. The town is famous for its colorful handicrafts and paintings. Return hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7: Safari To Ranthambore National Park
Early in the morning, leave for to take a safari to the Ranthambore National Park. Covering the area of about 1334 square kms, the Ranthambore National Park is one of the famous wildlife sanctuaries in India. It is best known for its Tigers. The park was declared a National Park in 1980. You can see the tigers in the jungle, wandering near the lakes and taking rest in the shades of the monuments. Also see the deer, leopards, monkeys, mongoose, squirrels, crocodiles, wild boar and many species of birds, on your safari tour at Ranthambore National Park. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur
Post breakfast, you will proceed to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur, check in your hotel and relax. You can take a tour of the Jaipur city. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built the well laid out Pink City of Jaipur in 1727. The tourist attractions of Jaipur include the beautiful portico of the Hawa Mahal palace, City Palace with a museum, and Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. Take leisure walks through the bustling streets and colorful markets of Jaipur. You can here shop for almost all kinds of handicraft items, pottery, textiles and artifacts. Come back to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 9: Jaipur To Fatehpur Sikri To Agra
Have your breakfast and take a trip to the Amer Fort, located 11 Kms far from Jaipur. Amer Fort is set atop a hill and you will enjoy an elephant ride to reach the fort. There are many palaces and royal buildings within the fort.

Depart for Agra. On the way, you will stop to see the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is a beautiful city with abandoned monuments and forts. See the Jama Masjid mosque, Panch Mahal and a huge gateway Buland Darwaza. Reach to Agra in the evening and check in the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 10: Agra
Wake up early at 6:00 AM in the morning and leave hotel to visit the Taj Mahal. Enjoy the picturesque view of the Taj Mahal during the sunrise. The early morning rays of the sun make the Taj look more beautiful. Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal, is the best example of Islamic architecture in India. It is the symbol of everlasting love.

Have your breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, move on to take a tour of the Agra city. See the grand Agra Fort. Built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, this majestic fort is huge in size with beautiful architecture. Also, see the grand palaces, halls of private and public audience and formal gardens in Agra. Visit the other attractions of Agra and leave for Delhi.

Day 11: Agra To Delhi - Departure
Take your breakfast and leave for Delhi. Reach Delhi and check in the hotel. Take a tour of the capital city of Delhi. In Old Delhi, see the sandstone Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi, you will see Cannaught Place, the Parliament House, India Gate, Bahai Temple and Qutub Minar. In the evening, enjoy shopping in the markets of Delhi.
