Day 01: Abroad / Mumbai
On the 1st day of the Spices and Backwaters Tour Itinerary with
India Tours Catalogue, you will arrive at Mumbai International Airport.
Our guide will meet you here and will further assist you to check
in a hotel in Mumbai. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing Mumbai
Take an early morning breakfast. Set out on the whole day's sightseeing
tour of Mumbai city. Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra is
the largest metropolitan city. Enjoy a boat ride to Elephanta Island
near Mumbai and visit the ancient caves dating back to 8th century.
See the Nariman Point, Kamla Nehru Park, Gateway of India, Hanging
Gardens Mani Bhawan, Film City, Colaba Causeway, Towers of Silence
and Marine Drive. Enjoy shopping expedition at the Crawford Market.
Return to the hotel. have your dinner and stay overnight in the
hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai / Cochin / Periyar
On the 3rd day of Spices and Backwaters Tour Itinerary, your tour
guide will arrange for a drive to the airport. Take a flight to
Cochin in Kerala in South India. Reach to Cochin. Check in the hotel.
Take lunch and afterwards get all set for a drive to Periyar in
Kerala. Reach to Periyar and check in the Spice Village Resort to
stay overnight.
Day 04: Periyar / Kumarakom
Early in the morning have your breakfast. Then get ready to take
a luxury boat cruise on the Periyar Lake, which is located in the
heart of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy the game watching tours
and laze around in the peaceful forest ambiance. Return to the Spice
Village and have your lunch. Then go on nature trekking to spice
plantations placed near by. Later in the evening, your guide will
organize for you a drive to the Coconut Lagoon Resort in Kumarakom,
Kerala, South India. Check in and stay at the hotel overnight.
Day 05: Kumarakom / Houseboat
Wake up at leisure and enjoy your morning amidst the natural scenery
at the Coconut Lagoon Resort in Kumarakom, Kerala, South India.
Take a canoe ride on a typical local canoe or vanji. They are the
best means to have a ride on the radiant and calm Kumarakom backwaters.
In the afternoon, after your scrumptious lunch at Coconut Lagoon
Resort, you will again check in the houseboat for a luxury cruise
on the incessant Kerala backwaters. Onboard overnight stay at the
houseboat.
Day 06: Houseboat / Marari
Take and enjoy your breakfast onboard the rice barge whilst sailing
to Alleppey. Come ashore at Puthenagady Jetty. From here you will
take a drive to Mararikulam. Check in the hotel as you reach. Spend
your rest of the day at your free will.
Day 07: Marari
Pass out your entire day on the picturesque Marari beach. Marari
beach provides you endless miles of outstanding sand beaches that
are surrounded by virgin territory and swaying palms. You can simply
relax at the Resort. Stay overnight at the hotel in Mararikulam
in Kerala, South India.
Day 08: Marari / Cochin
On the 8th day of the Spices and Backwaters Tour Itinerary with
India Tours Catalogue, reach to Cochin in Kerala. Your tour guide
will help you to check in the hotel. See the St. Francis Church,
Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Bolghatty Palace, Chinese fishing
nets and more in Cochin. Take a drive to Cochin harbor in afternoon
for a cruise. Return to the hotel in evening. Enjoy Kathakali dance
performance and a remarkable cultural extravaganza.
Have your dinner and stay overnight at a hotel in Cochin in Kerala.
Day 09: Cochin / Bombay
On the morning of the 9th day, you will be driven to Cochin airport.
You will board a flight to Mumbai. Later get transferred to International
airport for a flight back home.
Day 10: Abroad / Bombay
Late night, take a flight to your forward destination.
