Wildlife Tour of Orissa

Day 1: Balasore - Similipal Park
After arriving at the Balasore Railway Station, you will be escorted by our representative to the Similipal National Park. Declared as a national park in 1973, Similipal National Park is located in the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. Known to conserve the endangered tiger species in Orissa, Similipal National Park is a great place to explore during your Wildlife Tour of Orissa. After arriving at Similipal, check in at the lodge and have dinner along with an overnight stay.

Day 2: Similipal Park
Post breakfast at the lodge, move on for a sightseeing tour of the two most spectacular waterfalls in Orissa, namely, Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls. Have fun on picnics at these waterfall sites. Spend the rest of the day as you wish. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Similipal.

Day 3: Similipal Park
Start the 3rd day at Similipal with a wholesome breakfast at the lodge. Then move on for a jungle safari to the Similipal National Park for game viewing and bird watching. Return to the lodge before evening and indulge in the recreational activities. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge in Similipal.

Day 4: Bhadrak - Chandbali - Dangamal
Post breakfast drive to Chandbali via Bhadrak by jeep. After arriving at Chandbali, go for a motorboat cruise to reach Dangamal Island. While you are on your way, watch beautiful birds and the mesmerizing countryside. After arriving at Dangamal, check in at the forest rest house for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Dangamal - Bhitarkanika Sanctuary
Having breakfast at the rest house, proceed to the Bhitarkanika Sanctuary. After arriving at the sanctuary, check in at the forest lodge. Then go for boat rides inside the wildlife sanctuary. Also visit the Olive Ridley Turtle nesting site located on the beach stretch in Bhitarkanika. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Bhitarkanika Sanctuary - Bhubaneswar
Start the 6th day of your Wildlife Tour of Orissa with a wholesome breakfast at Bhitarkanika. Then head for Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa. While you are on your way, do visit the prehistoric Buddhist caves of Ratnagiri, Udaigiri and Lalitgiri. After arriving at Bhubaneswar, check in at the hotel and move ahead on a sightseeing tour of the famous temples of the city. Visiting Lord Lingaraj Temple that marks the epitome of Kalinga School of architecture is a true soothing experience. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

Day 7: Bhubaneswar
Start the last day of Wildlife Tour of Orissa with a wholesome breakfast at Bhubaneswar. Then head to the airport to board the flight back home or to your further destination.
