Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata
After arriving at the airport in Kolkata, you will be escorted by our representative to the hotel. Day 2: Kolkata - Vishakhapatnam
Start the second day of your Tribal Tour of Orissa with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Then leave for the railway station to board the train to Vishakhapatnam. After arriving in city having the very famous seaport and shipping industry, check in at the hotel. Have some refreshments and then proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Vishakhapatnam.
Day 3: Vishakhapatnam - Jeypore
Leave for Jeypore after an early morning breakfast at Vishakhapatnam. After arriving in this popular commercial city of East India, check in at the hotel and relax a while. Move on for a sightseeing tour that offers you to explore the great waterfalls, wildlife and forests of Jeypore. Return to the hotel and have dinner along with an overnight stay at the hotel in Jeypore.
Day 4: Jeypore
Start the 4th day of your Tribal Tour of Orissa with a healthy breakfast. Then move ahead on a half-day excursion to Onkudeoli. Bonda and Gadaba tribal markets are not to be missed in Onkudeoli. Try interacting with these tribes and capture the merry time in your camera. Spend the rest of the day as you wish by availing the recreational activities of the hotel. Later have dinner along with an overnight stay in Jeypore.
Day 5: Jeypore
Having an early morning breakfast, head for a full day excursion to the Kundli tribal market that is organized by the Paraja tribe. Being the largest tribal market in Orissa, this venue is the best place to seethe festive spirits of the tribal people of Jeypore. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Jeypore.
Day 6: Jeypore
Have a wholesome breakfast and move on a hike to the Gadaba villages. Have a look at the traditional homes set amidst the forested area and praying area. Go merry while dancing with the tribes in their Gadabad dance. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Jeypore.
Day 7: Jeypore - Rayagada
Begin the 7th day of your Tribal Tour of Orissa with a great breakfast at the hotel in Jeypore. Then leave for Rayagada and while you are on your way to Rayagada, do some shopping of curios and tribal jewelry from the famous tribal market of the Paraja tribe. Then visit the tribal museum and Jagannath Temple in Rayagada. After arriving at Rayagada, check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Rayagada.
Day 8: Rayagada
Having a great breakfast at Rayagada, move on a hike to Dongariya Kondh villages and try studying the tribal traditions and customs. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Rayagada.
Day 9: Rayagada - Belgarh
Post breakfast at Rayagada, head to Belgarh. While you are on your way to Belgarh, do visit the weekly tribal markets and villages of the Kutia Kondh. On arrival in Belgarh, check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 10: Belgarh - Bhubaneswar
Having a great breakfast in Belgarh, proceed to Bhubaneswar. After arriving at Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa, check in at the hotel and relax a while. Then move on for a sightseeing tour of 'the land of a thousand temples', Bhubaneswar. Places like Lingaraj, Rajarani, Muketeswara, and 64 Yogini temples are worth visiting in Bhubaneswar. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 11: Bhubaneswar
Having a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, go on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful Bhubaneswar city. Visit the Cactus Park, Botanical Gardens, Info Cities, State Emporiums, Handicrafts Showrooms and the Zoo. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 12: Bhubaneswar
Start the 12th day of your Tribal Tour of Orissa with a superb breakfast. Then move on excursions to the nearby art and craft villages and check out the centuries old folk art forms and traditions. Also visit Nuapatna and Dokhra villages famous for dealing in textiles and Sadeibarini village known for its metal work. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 13: Bhubaneswar - Puri
Drive to Puri after an early morning breakfast at Bhubaneswar. While you are on your way to Puri, have a stopover at Heerapur Dam, Dhauli, Pipli, known for its appliqué work and the ruins of the famous Konark Sun Temple in Konark. After arriving at Puri, check in at the hotel and relax a while. Have dinner and an overnight stay in this major pilgrimage destination of India.
Day 14: Puri
Post breakfast, move on for a sightseeing tour of Puri. Visit the colossal Jagannath Temple, marking the epitome of Kalinga School of architecture. Also see the smaller temples and kunds (holy ponds) in the holy Jagannath Temple. Post lunch, relax on the white sand beach and enjoy the beautiful sight of sunset and fishermen returning to their homes. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Puri.
Day 15: Puri - Kolkata
Begin the day with a healthy breakfast at Puri, and spend the rest of the day as you wish in Puri. Move on for a shopping excursion and have fun eating out at the food stalls adjoining the Jagannath Temple complex. Having boat ride is another way of spending some remarkable time in Puri. Later in the evening leave for the railway station to board the train for an overnight journey to Kolkata.
Day 16: Kolkata
After arriving at the station in Kolkata in the early morning, check in at the hotel and have some light refreshments. Then head for a sightseeing tour of the capital of West Bengal. Places like Victoria Memorial, BBD Bag, Eden Garden, Howra Bridge and Flurries are worth visiting in Kolkata. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kolkata.
Day 17: Departure from Kolkata
Begin the last day of your Tribal Tour of Orissa with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel in Kolkata. Then leave for the airport and board the flight back home or to your further destination.
