Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai
Arrive at the Mumbai airport, where our representative will be waiting to escort you to the hotel. Your tiredness will fly in seconds by the traditional welcome that you will be getting at the hotel's reception. Check in and relax amidst the world-class hotel facilities. Explore Mumbai's nightlife by visiting Chowpatty beach. End the 1st day of your Tour to Kerala by overstaying at the hotel in Mumbai.
Day 2: Mumbai - Cochin
Start the 2nd day of your Tour to Kerala with a wholesome breakfast at Mumbai. Proceed for a half-day excursion to Elephanta Caves, known as a popular World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel for lunch and afterwards move on for the half-day sightseeing tour of the 'city of dreams', Mumbai. Places like Juhu Beach, Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Gandhi Memorial Museum and the Jain Temple in Malabar Hills are worth visiting in Mumbai. Later return to the hotel and then leave for the airport to board the flight to Cochin. After arriving at Cochin, check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 3: Cochin
Post breakfast at the hotel in Cochin move on a sightseeing tour. Visit places like St. Francis Church, Fort Cochin, oldest Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets and Kochi Harbor during the city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Enjoy the delightful Kathakali performance and later relish the specialties of Kerala in dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 4: Cochin - Kumarakom
Post breakfast at the hotel, head for Kumarakom, a small town on the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake. Move on for a sightseeing tour after checking in at the hotel in Kumarakom. Don't miss the pleasure of having boat rides and houseboat cruises on the mesmerizing lakes and canals of Kumarakom. Also go for excursions to the nearby bird sanctuary and to the Vembanad Lake. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom
Start the 5th day of your Tour to Kerala with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Then board a private houseboat. Go through the authentic fishing villages and Chinese fishing nets while going on a backwater cruise through the intricate canal and backwater system of Alleppey and Kerala. Have an experience of a lifetime amidst the wonderful facilities provided in the backwater cruise. Enjoy an overnight stay onboard the houseboat.
Day 6: Kumarakom - Periyar
Having an early morning breakfast aboard the houseboat, as it reaches the designated boarding point from where you drive to the next destination called Periyar. While you are on your way to Periyar, have the pleasure of watching the beautiful countryside, waterfalls and meadows. After arriving at Periyar, check in at the hotel and have an overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 7: Periyar
Have a healthy breakfast and then go on to explore Periyar National Park. It's an enriching experience to view different birds and animals performing their natural actions in Periyar National Park. Exploring the delightful flora and fauna of Periyar on a boat cruise on the Lake Periyar is also not a bad idea. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 8: Periyar - Cochin
Post breakfast at Periyar, leave for Cochin. After arriving at Cochin, check in at the hotel and relax for the rest of the day by going on beach walks. Have an overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 9: Cochin - Mumbai
Having breakfast at the hotel in Cochin, head for the airport to board the flight back to Mumbai. After arriving at Mumbai, check in at the hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day as you wish in Mumbai. Indulge in shopping in the bustling markets of Mumbai or go for party at the various nightclubs. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 10: Departure from Mumbai
Start the last day of your Tour to Kerala with a wholesome breakfast. Then head for the airport to board the flight back home or to your further destination.
