Day 1: Paro - Thimphu
Arrive at the only airport of Bhutan at Paro, where our representative will escort you on a drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. On arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel and relax amidst the world-class hotel facilities. Relax and plan the next day schedule, on which you will be visiting Bhutan's terraced farms, oldest temples and monasteries and National Museum. Have an overnight stay in Bhutan. You won't be able to know how the first day of your Bhutan Tours will pass on.
Day 2: Thimphu
Having a breakfast at the hotel, move on for a sightseeing tour of the capital city that includes visits to the most popular tourist attractions. Walking along the banks of the river is a nice way to explore city's past that is preserved in its buildings and monuments. Tashichho Dzong, the main secretarial building of Bhutan, Traditional Medicine Institute, The Thangka Painting School and the National Library are places worth visiting during your Bhutan Tours. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu - Paro
Head for Paro after an early morning breakfast in the hotel. While you are on your way to Paro, do visit the 17th century Simtokha Dzong situated on a spectacular ridge. After arriving in Paro, check in at the hotel and move on for a historical sightseeing tour of the beautiful valley. Exploring the ruins of Drugyel Dzong or the victorious fortress, a monastery built in the 17th century, is an experience of a lifetime. This ancient monastery is famous because it's from here that the Bhutanese repelled several invading Tibetan armies during the 17th century. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.
Day 4: Paro
Post breakfast, go on an excursion to the 17th century Rinpung Dzong, known for its precise symmetry and for the ruler who built it. The rest of the day will pass on while visiting Ta Dzong on the hillside and by going on an excursion to the serene Taktsang monastery or the Tiger's Nest situated on the cliff overlooking the beautiful valley. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5: Departure from Paro
Start the last day of your Bhutan Tours with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Later our representative will escort you to the airport at Paro. On arrival at the airport, board the flight back home or to your further destination.
