Day 01 Arrive Chennai
On the first day of your tour itinerary, reach Chennai. Here, you will be received by your tour guide on arrival. Get transferred to the hotel and relax. Stay overnight at hotel in Chennai.
Day 02 Chennai
Take a full day sightseeing tour of Chennai. It is the capital city of Tamil Nadu and the gateway to the cities of South India. Visit the Marina Beach, Kapaleswarar temple, San Thomas Basilica, fort museum, St. Mary's Church, and more. Stay overnight at hotel in Chennai.
Day 03 Chennai/Mahabalipuram
Travel to Mahabalipuram and visit Kanchipuram en route. Kanchipuram is the cultural city of Tamil nadu, located 64 km from Chennai. It is famous among devotees and art lovers for its temples and silk. As you reach Mahabalipuram, check in the hotel.
Day 04 Mahabalipuram
Take the morning sightseeing excursion to Mahabalipuram. See the rock cut shore temple with five chariots and the beach.
Day 05 Drive Mahabalipuram /Madurai
In the morning, travel to Madurai. On your arrival to Madurai, check in the hotel. No temple travel to India is complete without visiting Madurai. You will see the magnificent Meenakshi temple in Madurai.
Day 06 Madurai/Periyar
In morning, visit Meenakshi Temple, one of the most famous temples of India, followed by a drive to Periyar, located at the distance of 137 kms, taking 4 hours in ride. Check in the wildlife resort of Periyar.
Day 07 Periyar
Take a safari to Periyar. Periyar is a thickly forested wildlife sanctuary located in Kerala. Here you can see herds of elephants and even the tigers. Take a cruise on the Periyar Lake among the cool surroundings Periyar Tiger Reserve. Have a game viewing of Elephants, Indian Gaur, Antelope, Monkeys, barking deer, spotted Deer, wild boar and birds of myriad varieties.
Day 08 Drive Periyar / Kumarakom (120 kms/3 hours)
Travel from Periyar to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a peaceful backwater city that offers you memorable holiday experience. Check in the hotel of Kumarakom. The rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 09 Kumarakom
Get transferred to boat jetty to board Kettuvallam or Houseboat for backwater cruise towards Alleppey. Take a cruise on the backwaters on the beautifully crafted vessels with an attentive crew. Have a soothing and romantic way to explore the remarkable Kumarakom with your partner, family or group. Have your lunch and dinner on board.
Day 10 Cochin
Arrive at Alleppey boat jetty and take a drive to Cochin, located at 63 kms with 1.5 hours of ride. As you reach, check in the hotel.
Day 11 Cochin.
Cochin is an attractive port city of Kerala. Also called as Kochi, it is an important tourist destination of Kerala. Take a sightsee tour in Cochin city, visit the natural harbor, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets and more. Before you return to the hotel, move on to see the Kathakali dance. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12
