Day 1: Wednesday - Mumbai
Board the Deccan Odyssey Train at the Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus at Mumbai in the evening. You will enjoy your dinner on the Deccan Odyssey train. Enjoy the panoramic views from the window. Sleep overnight on the train.
Day 2: Thursday - Jaigadh To Ganapatipule To Ratangiri
Reach at Bhoke railway station in Maharashtra. Travel through an air conditioned bus to the jetty to see the Jaigadh Fort.Depart by road for Ganapatiphule. Relax on the beach and have your lunch at the beach resort. You will take a bus ride to the Ratnagiri town. Take a tour to the Ratnadurg Fort and Lokmanya Tilak Smarak. Related to the colorful past of India, these places and enjoy shopping at Ratnagiri Bazar. Take a drive to Ratnigiri station and board the Deccan Odyssey. Take your dinner and have an overnight stay on the train.
Day 3: Friday - Sindhudurg To Tarkarli To Sawantwadi
In the morning, you will reach at the Sindhudurg Nagari Railway Station. Take an air-conditioned bus ride to Malvan Jetty to reach to the Sindhudurg Sea Fort. Enjoy sightseeing the fort. Later, proceed to Tarkali Beach Resort. You can relax and have lunch in the beach resort. Post lunch, you will have a cruise ride from Tarkali creek to Kalse Jetty. Move on to Sawantwadi, the place unique for exquisite local handicrafts, furniture and paintings at the crafts village or Shilpagrama. Day 4: Saturday - Goa

Day 5: Sunday - Pune
Reach Pune, the important IT and travel city of Maharashtra. Ride on bus and reach to the old central market, Mahatma Phule Mandai. Take a tour to the Osho International Commune, the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum and Sir David Sasoon Synagogue. Enjoy your lunch at the Le Meridien Hotel and relax. Later in the day, take a tour to the Aga Khan Palace, Tribal Museum. Enjoy watching the Sound and Light Show at Shaniwarwada. Come back to the Pune railway station and board the Deccan Odyssey train. Have your dinner and stay overnight on the train.
Day 6: Monday - Aurangabad
Reach Aurangabad. By road, travel to the Daulatabad Fort and see the historic Ellora Caves. The 34 ancient Ellora caves are very famous for their rock cut temples. They are about 10 centuries old. Have your lunch and see the cultural programme at the Taj Hotel. Post lunch move on to see the Aurangabad Caves, Shivaji museum and Bibi ka Maqbara, built by Aurangzeb for his wife. You can enjoy shopping for handicrafts in the region such as the Himroo work, Paithani sarees, and Bidriwork. Get back to the railway station and board the Deccan Odyssey train. Have your dinner and stay overnight on the train.
Day 7: Tuesday - Ajanta and Nasik
Reach at the Jalgaon Railway Station. Board a bus to the Fardapur Resort. Have your breakfast. Post breakfast; depart to see the Ajanta Caves. The 5th century old Buddhist cave temples have paintings, sculptures, frescoes and carvings, related to Lord Buddha's life. Board a bus to Bhusalwal Railway Station and board the Deccan Odyssey train. Move on to Nashik. Have your lunch on board. Reach Nashik. Take a sightseeing tour of the religious city. Day 8: Wednesday - Mumbai
